UniProtKB description:  Cleaves the beta-phosphate at the 5-position of soluble inositol pyrophosphates (PubMed:35640071, PubMed:35468885). Has highest activity on 5-diphosphoinositol 1,2,3,4,6-pentakisphosphate (5-InsP(7)), 1,5-bis-diphosphoinositol 2,3,4,6-tetrakisphosphate (1,5-InsP(8)) and 3,5-InsP(8), but has weak activity against 1-diphosphoinositol 2,3,4,5,6-pentakisphosphate (1-InsP(7)) (PubMed:18433060, PubMed:35468885). Dephosphorylates the phosphoinositides PI(3,4,5)P3, PI(3,5)P2, but not PI(3)P, PI(3,4)P2 or PI(4,5)P2 (PubMed:17976645). Possesses phosphotyrosine phosphatase activity in vitro, and can hydrolyze para-nitrophenyl phosphate, O-methylfluorescein phosphate, polyphosphate and ATP (PubMed:18433060, PubMed:21409566).
