April 24 to 30 is World Immunization Week

The World Health Organization's World Immunization Week, celebrated in the last week of April, aims to highlight the collective action needed and to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease.

Vaccines are a simple and safe way to protect us from infection. They help the body learn how to build antibodies to create a defense against pathogens like viruses.
